* Family policy covers husband, wife (or common law wife) and all named dependent children up to and including 15 years of age travelling and insured on the same booking.
The premium will be automatically added to your booking unless you delete the YES on the booking form. Premiums include Insurance Premium Tax which is currently 17.5%.
Children under two years of age at the date of departure are covered by this insurance in respect of cancellation and medical costs only if travelling with an adult insured under this scheme.
SENIOR CITIZENS:
There is no additional premium charged for persons aged 65 years or older at the date of departure. However, higher excesses apply in respect of Cancellation, Medical Expenses & Repatriation, and Curtailment (see Policy Excesses).
We summarise below the cover of the policy arranged by Global Travel Insurance Services Ltd, members of the General Insurance Standards Council, and underwritten by Travel and Personal Underwriters Ltd on behalf of a panel of insurers including Royal and Sun Alliance, members of the Association of British Insurers and the Insurance Ombudsman Bureau. The policy detail which will be forwarded with your confirmation invoice defines the cover fully. A copy is available, if required, prior to effecting the insurance.

POLICY EXCESSES:
An excess of £50 applies to each and every claim in respect of Cancellation * (other than loss of deposit where an excess of £20 applies), Medical Expenses & Repatriation *, Curtailment *, Luggage & Money.
* Excess is increased to £100 when the insured person is 65 years of age or over.
EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE:
A 24 hour emergency assistance service is included in the policy.
MAIN EXCLUSIONS:
The insurer will not be liable for claims where at the time of taking out the insurance the person whose condition gives rise to a claim
- is aware of any medical condition or circumstances which could reasonably be expected to give rise to a claim, or
- has during the last 12 months suffered from any chronic or recurring illness of a serious nature which has required treatment unless disclosed to Global Travel Insurance and agreed, or
- is suffering from a previously diagnosed psychiatric disorder, receiving or on a waiting list for hospital or nursing treatment, is expected to give birth before or within 2 months of the return trip, or
- is travelling against the advice of a medical practitioner or for the purpose of obtaining medical treatment abroad, or
- has been advised of a terminal prognosis.
DISCLOSURE OF HEALTH CONDITIONS:
If you have a chronic or recurring medical condition or have had hospital treatment in the last 12 months you must disclose it by contacting Global Travel Insurance for a Medical Questionnaire. Failure to do so may affect your rights under the insurance.
Engaging in hazardous pursuits such as winter sports, mountaineering, rock climbing, pot holing and use of underwater breathing apparatus are not covered by this policy.

Should the policy not suit your personal requirements, you may return it to us within 14 days of receipt and obtain a full refund of premium.
